Jeffery Fiedler

I grew up in this business. My grandfather, Leonard M. Fiedler, founded the firm on Main Street in Hackettstown in 1959, and I started here in 1999 as an apprentice appraiser. I learned the trade the long way — at the family firm, then at Schmidt & Dashine Realty, where the work grew into farms, commercial property, and appraisals prepared for litigation, tax appeals, and estates. In 2009 I acquired Schmidt Dashine and brought it under the Fiedler name, adding Stan Udell Realtors the next year. Today I wear two hats. As Broker of Record, I lead our sales team and have personally listed more than 1,000 properties — farms, land, homes, businesses, and the complex ones that don't fit a template, sold conventionally or at auction through Fiedler AM. As a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, I handle the valuation side: estates and date-of-death work, tax appeals, divorce and litigation support, and the occasional assignment nobody else wants to price — a tower lease, a deed-restricted farm. My market is northwest New Jersey — Warren, Hunterdon, Morris, and Sussex counties.
